With the exception of the crazy 15 lb loss during the time my gallbladder tried to kill me*, I have always had a hard time losing weight. I am determined to drop a few before I pack it all back on again during another pregnancy. I’m hoping I don’t have a 50 lb weight gain this second go round!
My husband and I have talked about trying a few things. First, I’ve replaced the junk food with green stuff. Second, I try to get a little exercise in at least 3x a week. I also like to start my day in meditation. I find when my mind is right, everything else is easier to do.
Todd also decided this week to become involved with Advocare. I know of several friends who have sold it or used it, but I don’t know much about it at all. He bought both of us a 24 Day Challenge pack and we are getting started on it. It’s a lot of stuff!
So, here are my questions: Have any of you tried this? What did you think of it?
What should I expect? Any tips or tricks I should take into consideration?
I think I’ll weigh myself and maybe even measure myself before I get started and blog about it. Not obsessively, just write down how I feel about it.
Todd’s going to be a distributor for it on the side. I think he’ll do well at it! I’m a TERRIBLE salesperson. I’m glad it’s not me! HA!
Here’s to losing those last few pounds!
(To be honest I have more than a FEW to lose, I just want to set a reasonable goal!)
*PS – My gallbladder didn’t really try to kill me. It just felt like it and it’s funnier to say it that way.
