Do you ever take a ton of pictures to realize later that you’re not quite pleased with the end result?
You’re about to see some.
Even though they weren’t the best quality, the memories behind the photos were much better than the photos themselves and they tell the story I wanted to tell. Sometimes that’s what makes a photo great. Much more than great exposure and perfect framing.
A few weeks ago we were with family and we went to visit B’s granny and aunt “Jean-Jean.” We swung on hammocks. We got dirty from head to toe. We played with toys and tackled poor ol’ Jean-Jean to the ground. Several times.
By “we” I mean B.
After all that we played in the sprinklers and hosed off. This is also the last set of photos while Bluebelle is wearing a diaper. Yep. Crazy. She’s getting so big! Also, with the shedding of a diaper she has put on a big attitude. Oh, the twos. They escalate daily. 🙂
We try to create these moments every time we visit family. I know not every encounter will be perfect, but we are working to create great memories every time. I believe it’s important. Enjoy the photos!
A good time was had by all. 🙂
* I watermark all my photos. If you’re family and/or you want one of these non-watermarked, contact me and remind me to send them to you. I also hate the idea of words being over such lovely faces, but some people just aren’t cool. If you want to know more why I find it so important, please visit this, this, or this article for more information.
