“And I’m HALFWAY THERE, halfway there!” (Sung to the tune of “Almost there.” We watch a lot of Princess and the Frog.)
I apologize for the pathetic photo this week. I planned to take a pic earlier, but we were busy. I figured I’d have time later in the day… and then it got dark. My other pics are quite cute, but there’s a shirtless little girl in them and I don’t share those photos online. I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Just trust me when I say they are adorable!
Besides, we may have more photos later in the week!
McGrowing: Week 20
Baby is: The length of a banana (10 inches) and about 10.5 ounces! She/he is also practicing lots of swallowing!
Symptoms: Feeling good!
Cravings: Sweets! I’m in TROUBLE!
Aversions: I think all my aversions are almost all gone! Woohoo! Now I’m going to have to be extra vigilant about making good decisions. I might have to give away all the cookies in my house. It’s getting to be bad, y’all. My self-control is flying out the window.
Drinking: Water, coffee, green smoothies (spinach, frozen mixed fruit, and juice), juice… root beer. I need to STOP DRINKING FIZZY DELICIOUS DRINKS.
Clothes: Umm, I kind of hate my clothes this week. This is going to be a long next 20 weeks.
Baby’s heartbeat: 144 bpm as of last Monday! (Feb 4)
Boy or Girl?: ALL IS CONFIRMED THIS WEEK! Will we share with you all Friday? Mayyyyybe.
What I miss: Being able to reach under the bed easily. HA!
What I’m looking forward to: Valentine’s Day! More baby movements. Going to the Just Between Friends‘ sale next month and stocking up on baby goodies (pink or blue)!! (By the way… look for a giveaway starting TOMORROW!)
I’ve been working out on my back more and it’s making a huge difference! I went to the doctor last week and it was revealed that I gained 7 pounds in the last month. That was really disappointing. All that means is that I need to work harder and stop giving in to all my cravings. The doctor just suggested that I work out more… and he’s right. I’ve totally slacked off.
This past week was a better discipline week for B too. We’ve had to reinforce some rules and we are starting to see a marked difference. It’s amazing how much better a week can be!
Can’t wait to share all the exciting news this week!
